After several rock'n'blues albums, this artist from Sioux City (Iowa) has released a country music album spiced up with americana sauce and sprinkled with southern intonations. And the result is delectable! Thereby, the swamp-country song "Band of gypsies" sounds very "southern", probably because of this sticky slide, and lets point out some accents to the Lynyrd Skynyrd. We fall in love with the slow melodic ballad " His steel guitar ", a tribute to Don Ray's father who played this instrument.
